VINEYARDS: Nerello Mascalese is the most representative ambassador of Sicily. Our grapes are carefully selected from low yielding vineyards (70Q/Ha). The good sun exposure and the African wind allows to have berries reach of aromas and flavours.

VINIFICATION: The shoots of Nerello grapes are cut so as to allowa natural withering of the grapes which increase the amount of sugar, thanks to the Sicilian hot sun and to the wind that comes from Africa. After about 15-20 days, the grapes have lost about 15-20% of their weight and are then skin maceration at 24/26°C for 12/15 days. 4 daily pumpovers, 1 delestage. 2 days of pumpover after the end of FA. Agining in franch oak for 12/16 months.

SENSORY FEATURES: Bright ruby red, vivid, full and intense. Complex aroma of red fruits, spices and red flowers. Warm, full, soft and well-balanced,with red fruits after taste. Due Lune expresses the harmonious balance between Nerello Mascalese and Nerod’Avolacan achieve.

BEST SERVED WITH:Perfect with anchovies, goat’s cheese, grilled meat and vegetables. Tasty first courses, grilled meat, important fish baked in the oven
